WHAT WE VALUE:

Family

We believe that healthy families produce healthy children. Our desire is to be a family ministry, working together with you to help teach our children the value of loving God and loving others.

Relationships

Life change happens in the context of relationships. Our volunteers, teachers and connect group leaders are committed to serve in the same classroom and service every weekend so that they can build relationships with you and your children.

Safety

Your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us. In addition to a secure check- in process, every volunteer and staff member with in Coastal Kids undergoes an application process, background check and training before serving.

Age Appropriateness

We are dedicated to presenting the Word of God in such a way that children will be able to understand and apply it. Our environments and lesson material are broken down in such a way that children are able to learn about God in a fun and safe way.

Coastal Kids - August Week 3

We just completed week 3 in our series "Are You Ever Really Alone?" in Explorers. Your child heard about the Israelites making bricks for the King, Pharoah. This was a hard task for the Israelites. When things get haed for a child, they will tend to not do it, or look to others for help. We can look to God for help in any situation that comes. In order your child to do this, he must see the person he looks up to the most do it. The person that he looks up to the most is you. Let him see you ask God for help. Remember that he will do what you do.

Coastal Kids - August Week 2

This past Sunday in Explorer's your child learned that she doesn't have to be afraid because God is always with her. Just like Moses before the burnng bush, our fear of the unknown doesn't have to control us. She learned that not knowing what to expect at a new school, or meeting a new teacher, or making new friends doesn't need to keep us from experiencing the joy God has for us in these new adventures in life. Because God is always with us, we do not have to feel alone when our loved ones are absent. Her Bible reference was from Exodus 3:1-4:17.

Coastal Kids - New Series

School starts this month and one of the things on your kids mind is making friends. This week we are starting a new series in ELEMENT called "Peer Relationships". As they enter their pre-teen and teens year, your kids are hugely impacted by the friends they choose. This series helps children ages six to eleven build a Godly foundation for making friends and peer relationships as they grow.
